Following an investigation into damp, the existing floor was removed and excavated to the required depth.

Solution

The team installed clean hardcore, sand blinding, a 1200-gauge damp-proof membrane, A393 mesh and a new 150 mm concrete slab.

Outcome

The dig-out, installation and concrete pour were completed in just over a day.
