The project began with a reduced dig and demolition of an existing garage and brick outbuilding. Surrey Groundworks then undertook the groundworks for four residential properties, including services, foul drainage and access-road works.

Delivery of the block-and-beam system was delayed by the supplier while the groundworks programme continued across the plots.

Plots 1–4 received block-and-beam floors, with the substructure works completed in planned stages.

Plots 2–4 were completed to substructure level and handed over ready for the bricklayers.
