Overview

Surrey Groundworks completed the reinforced concrete base from steel fixing and shuttering through to the concrete pour and finished brick plinth.

Challenges

The 38 m³ concrete pour was completed in hot, sunny conditions.

Solution

The slab was steel tied and shuttered before the 38 m³ pour, followed by construction of the brick plinth.

Outcome

The completed base and brick plinth were handed over to Southern Oak for the oak carport installation.
